Delete Your Ordon Auto Account

Ordon Auto lets you delete your account at any time. This page explains what gets removed, how to start the process, and how long you have to change your mind. We follow Apple App Store, Google Play, and Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law requirements for self-serve account deletion.
Delete specific data without closing your account
You don't have to delete your entire account to remove individual pieces of data. From inside the Ordon Auto app or website, while signed in, you can:
- Delete any of your car listings from My Listings → pick a listing → Delete. The photos and brochure attached to that listing are removed with it.
- Remove individual photos or the brochure from a listing by editing it.
- Remove your business logo from Settings → Business → Remove logo.
- Edit or clear profile fields — name, phone number, photo, date of birth, and business name — from Settings → Profile.
- Remove a saved favourite by tapping the heart icon on it.
- Stop receiving push notifications by signing out of a device or disabling notifications in that device's system settings.
- Business accounts can remove sales-team members from Settings → Sales Team.
These removals take effect immediately — there is no waiting period and no recovery window. If you cannot access the app and need to delete specific data, contact support@ordonauto.com.
1. What gets deleted
When you confirm deletion, the following data is removed from Ordon Auto:
- Your profile, including your name, email, phone number, and photo
- All of your car listings and the photos attached to them
- Saved favourites and search history
- Push-notification tokens registered to your devices
- Any login sessions on the web and mobile apps
Conversations and messages already sent to other users will remain in their inboxes; we do not retroactively erase content from other accounts. Anonymised, aggregated analytics that no longer identify you may also be retained.
2. How to delete your account
You must start the deletion from inside the Ordon Auto app or website, while signed in to the account you want to delete:
- Sign in to Ordon Auto on the iOS app, the Android app, or ordonauto.com.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account, type the word
DELETEto confirm, and submit. - You will receive a confirmation email and be signed out from every device.
If you have lost access to your account or to the email address associated with it, contact support@ordonauto.com and we will help you regain access so you can complete the deletion yourself.
3. The 30-day recovery window
For the first 30 days after you request deletion, your account is hidden but not yet erased. Your listings disappear from search and your profile pages return a 404, but nothing is permanently destroyed.
To cancel the deletion during this period, simply sign back in to your account from the app or the website. The cancellation is automatic — your listings, favourites, and settings come back exactly as they were.
After the 30-day window, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. We cannot recover an account after this point.
4. Business accounts
Business accounts (dealerships, agencies, and team rosters) cannot be deleted with the self-serve flow because they often involve outstanding customer obligations, multiple sales-team members, and contractual relationships.
To close a business account, contact support@ordonauto.com. Our team will work through the closure with you and confirm when the account and its data have been removed.
5. Your rights under Jordan's PDPL
Article 10 of Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 gives you the right to request erasure of your personal data. The process described on this page satisfies that right. If you have questions about your data rights, write to support@ordonauto.com.
